BALLET ARTS BELIEVES that Dance is a special aid in developing the mind, body and emotions.  It is an educational process, a physical activity, and at its height, an art.  Classical Ballet forms the base from which the total dancer is created.  Our goal is to help children find their own creative abilities while gaining these basic techniques.

BALLET ARTS provides one of Kalamazoo's most beautiful dance facilities.  It has two spacious
studios, spring suspended wood floors with a marley covering, comfortable lobby, double & single
barres, mirrors, dressing areas, and viewing windows.  Ballet Arts is conveniently located at the comer
of Rambling Rd. and Stadium Drive (at the traffic light), ample parking is provided.

CECCHETTI METHOD
Ballet Arts offers classes in the Cecchetti Method of classical ballet to students who want an extra
challenge.  The Cecchetti method is based on the teachings of Enrico Cecchetti, the Italian ballet master.
Students participating are able to concentrate more on technique in a smaller classroom situation.  After
intensive studies, they are presented to take their Cecchetti exams in front of registered examiners.
Students also have the opportunity to attend the Cecchetti Summer camp at Hope College.  Ballet Arts
has been successfully presenting dancers for exams for the last fourteen years.
